If I sell papertowels on my website... which is better for a keyword?

I am convinced it makes no difference... just wondering what you all though.

After many, maaaany keywords tested, I can tell you that the plurals get much more traffic than the singular terms. The difference sometimes can be 9 to 1

Check the Digital Point keyword suggestion tool. Most of the time the plurals get more traffic. Besides, you'll likely show up for the singular version of the word as well since it is part of the plural. I use both on my pages in order to make it more readable to the human but in anchor text and such it's often hard to target the singular term w/o sounding funny. Go w/ plural more often than not.
