Keyword Phrase Top Position On Google

    Hello All,

    I'm new to this forum and would like some advice on how google indexes keyword phrases for top position. I am building a website and have keyword phrases that would place me at no.1

    I have placed them in all the right places on my website and it's currently no.1 but what i would like to know is would i be knocked off should another site that has been on the web longer has more backlinks etc than i have if the same keywords phrase are used on their website??

    You have to optimize your page first...
    Start with the basics. You have to make SEO on that first so that you will rank number one in Google.

    There are many factors that determine the ranking of a site for a given keyword. Age of site and number of backlinks are only 2 of the factors.

    You have to do Seo (keyword density,placing)
    and keep update
    then try more good backlink

    The following factors counts for SERP:
    1. Domain age
    2. On Page optimization ( META TAGS optimization )
    3. Off Page Optimization

    If your website is on the top for a particular keyword then it means that your Meta Tags optimization is good. You should now concentrate on offpage optimization like getting quality backlinks point to your site. Please note that quality matters and not quantity. You can get quality backlinks by submitting your website to high PR sites like web directory, article directory, social bookmarking, etc.

    Please note that that offpage optimization is a continuous process. There are many people who want to rank higher for a particular keyword so you need to keep on optimizing your website so that you are on the top.

    You need to get quality and relevant back links to your site. Then you need to optimize your page content with focusing keywords.

    You may check the keywords density for your site and for your competitors. This way you'll get the imagination what to do next.
    And in case the sites are equal for onpage optimization, that one will have better position for a keyword, which has more quality BL.

    You have to optimize your page for that/those keyword(s) and then get as many as backlinks with those keywords as the anchor text.

    It depends on the competition on your keywords. If competition is high,then chances of getting kicked off is high, but if the competition is low, you have less chances of getting dropped from search engine.

    Your website needs proper SEO and this can be done by following the on/off page elements like adding contents, editing the titles, adding links, etc.
