Keyword maintenance and cleanup

I started some Adwords campaigns with about 1,000 keywords. The ads were shown in the search and content network. Now I got a question when it comes to sort out the keywords that do not show any traffic or clicks associated with - which I assume applies to the search network only?!

Let's say I see about 100K impressions total - 90% of those are on the content network and 10% on search. Out of my 1000 keywords I see maybe 70 or 80 associated with traffic or clicks and the numbers only match up for search - not for content. Will removing the other keywords damage my ad performance in the content network? I think that's where I am still a little confused.

    Thanks for any feedback.

The reports don't show which keywords were clicked on for the content network, so yes removing some of the keywords which aren't getting search clicks may affect the amount of traffic from the content network.
