I don't understand what " sorted by verticals" means so excuse me if this is not what you're looking for, first try
    googles free tool here:
    https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

    and

Try the free tool listed in my sig. If it works for you then you might think about upgrading to paid version.

You can also use other free keyword research tools like wordtracker tool, seobook keyword tool and keyword discovery tool besides Google's keyword research tool to compare the results. This will give better picture of keywords used in your chosen niche.

Thank you very much all of you for the info that you have posted.

I will probably use all of the information you guys provided to help me out.

Just so I can get a few more responses....ultimately I was looking for a pre-compiled list of keywords sorted by verticals AKA Categories. Either a Excel, csv, tab delimited, pretty much any format that is readable.

Thank you in advanced for your answers and again thank you to the above posters...

What about a list of most expensive PPC keywords? Is Spyfu the best source for that?

First of all collect the list of Verticals and than go for Google keyword selector and find out Generic keywords and than go to wordtracker for extensive keyword research...

I use keyword elite. You have to buy (if you can't find it somewhere else :)), but if you REALLY want focused keywords, that's a good tool
