Keyword Jumps Dramatically?

    My keyword 'membrane switch' jumps from a ranking of about 150 one week, to out of the top 10,000 the next week, then goes back to 150 (repeat)?!? This has gone on the past 2-3 months. I don't worry about it too much but what the heck is going on? All my other keywords are much more stable.

    Is there anything I can do to improve stability?

    More links to it always settles down 'jumpers' for me.

    G just isn't sure yet whether to have it in or out. Convince them with votes!

    I'll try that, but it's my main keyword so every inbound contains it already. So it's kind of funny that that phrase would jump and the others wouldn't.

    Likewise .....IBLs .....links ..being part of a phrase is not the same as being a link in its own right ;)
