Hey When using the Keyword Insertion (Dynamic Keywords as some other search engines call it), is there anyway to maintain the case of the keyword as it is without adhering to the keyword capitalization rules as specified here: http://adwords.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=74996&topic=12396 It becomes a major pain when the keywords have words like PHP and ASP.NET in the middle because I can't make them conform to any rules and all I can do is change the way I frame my keywords. Thanks for any help, Sanket
There is no way that I know of the retain the case in dynamically inserted keywords. I have had an issue with this in the past and tried to find an way but was unsuccessful. It would really help clean up a few of my ads.
{keyword:blah blah} = all lower case {KeyWord:blah blah} = First Letter Of Each Word Upper Case {KEYWORD:blah blah} = ALL CAPS but what you are trying to do, your best bet is to just put those in their own ad groups and write ads for them. i have a lot of ad groups with 2 or 3 keywords just for this reason
Excellent tip. I have been looking for that function for a while. I generally eschew keyword insertion, but I am now trying it out on one of my campaigns. Look forward to trying it out.
