Keyword in URL - important for Search Engine Optimization

    I have few (about 20) web sites and I have tested some different ways for Search Engine Optimization.
    I think that most important part is that you have keywords in url. This will help your SERP for keywords that you have in url.

    Post your experiance about URLs and keywords.

    Try to find a good domain an short who have your primary keyword in name ;)

    I have done with that and I always get domain names with my main keyword in it. I think it is very important for Search Engine Optimization.

    I think the major benefit I've got is from other people linking to my site. They use the keyword in the link text and that boosts me in the SERPs.

    Hi- I wrote a SEO article a little while back about just this if anyone is interested to check it out.

    The keywords in your URL is given weight in Googles algo but a second, equally important benefit is that people tend to link to you with your keyword as anchor text so it is a double benefit.
