I think I've finally find a good keyword, something that interests me aswell. The problem is that the dot com extension of the keyword domain is taken. I have the options of .net, .org or using a dash. Which one is more appealing? 1stword2ndword.net OR 1stword-2ndword.com Opinions? Thankyou.
theres no prob in the extension names of .net and .org... it really depends on how you optimize your site..
I would be inclined to buy both options if you feel its a good name, and use the domain name without the hyphen for the site, as it would usually be easier for your clients or visitors to remember. Owning all the options should put you in a safer position from competitors looking for the same domain name. Although it will still come down to your SEO skills in the end, regarding rank and positioning on the SEs
If your site belongs to commercial then use .com otherwise u can use .net for network and .org for non-profit companies.
With the hyphen I would go for it. However, .net can also provide good serp. However, owning both options is the best way to protect yourself.
Well not .org because it shows the organizations and I am sure you aren't going to make a Red cross or Red Crescent Cheers
