I have a domain that if I type it in google, there are over a million results for the exact keyword. If I develop the site with minimum seo work, then is it possible for me to get to page 1? Or would I have to do some major seo work?

I have a website that if I search it, it comes in with over 300k results and its first on google for that keyword.

Will this domain be harder to get on top? Some competators are the product website and sites like amazon.

    Thanks,

Hard to tell. It depends on the strength of your competitors. If all your competitors have low PR and low amount of inbound links your chances are good. Having the keyword as a part of the domain can be wuite powerful.

But you need to do some optimizing and having sites linking to you.

can't say easily ,you have to put maximum efforts to self top in 300k results, buy lot of links from high quality sites and write lot of content in article directories with your back link to your keyword.

What is the description for your domain. It's hard to give you advise if I don't know what it's about.

    The domain is SocomComplete.com.

Socom is a series of games developed by Interactive Inc. and Sony.

I emailed Sony about this so lets see what they say.
