I posted this question exactly because I read this SEObook article, and didn't understand how to use {keyword:}.

At the AdW Learning Center there's also no mention of it 8((

    any other help?

where can I place {keyword:}? At title or desc only?

If the search term would be a long tail like "christmas gifts for veteran baby players"
does the {keyword:} = christmas gifts for veteran baby players ?

    Title or desc will work.

{keyword:} will display the keyword in your ad group that matches the users query.

There are a bunch of threads about it here in the DP AdWords forum too.

the {keyword} function is great, but for some reason Google tries to keep it under wraps. I've heard about it from the bloggers, but not from Google.
