can anyone tell me if a particular keyword is search 50,000 in a month and the competing pages are 700,000 so that KEI = 50,000/700,000 = 0.0714 In this case what do you guys think? is it too competitive? normal?
hi there the above figures sounds ok (a bit competitive). In my opinion, you should also look at your specific keyword on google search engine first and see who are your main competitor...browse their website...are they from 'big' company, SEO optimised?.....if they are from 'big' company the chance for your to rank top in search engine is quite slim...and you should find different keyword. hope this helps
well take the first 10 pages and check the number of backlinks they have, if you can come close to that number, then you have a chance.
I don't think competing pages got to do anything with it . I would check the keywords in exact " (keyword)" just to get a better idea. Then , I would check the backlinks for the top 10.
