Keyword error?

I ran a search on all the google datacenters for 'wrestling headgear' no quotes. It showed no new results for jrwrestling yet, but the tool says 17+18.

    Any clue for the discrepancy?

    Probably data center flux...

The keyword tracker logs the best result for the day, so maybe it was there, and now it's not.

I'm having a similar problem, but backwards... I'm trying to rank for the phrase video montage, and when I look on google, I'm hovering in the 200 range (I'm in the google sandbox still ;) ), when when I use the keyword tool, it shows no ranking at all. I do use the check all button, and it has been like this daily... any ideas?

How deep is your keyword tracker account setup to look?

The highest number, I think... how high does it track upto?

Oh, I just checked... it only goes up to 200, right? So if I'm ranking 203 or something, it won't show up, eh? Is there a way to have it check higher than 200?

No, sorry... it's intentionally throttled a 200. A query to 200 deeps eats up 20 of your daily limit of 1,000 queries on your API key. Going all the way to 1,000 would eat through 100 (10%) of your daily queries for a single keyword.

And truthfully, I'm not sure how much value a keyword ranking above 200 is (or even above 40).

Yeah, thanks. ;) I've been using that tool for a while... and I guess you're right... not really worth tracking when the ranking is so bad. :(
