I was working on an ecommerce website and was targeting a particular niche.... the name of that website is unique... Now I have got the exact niche which I was targeting in .com...

Now, what Should I do? Should I develop a whole new site for this niche domain?

I have been working on my existing site for 6 months...so It won't be an easier task for me to redo or to come up with a new design again for the new domain.......

Should I only redirect this niche domain to my existing website's domain?

Which Solution is better? You can also suggest some other solutions, if possible...

I also want the top position for that particular niche...and I think with the niche domain it is possible.....Currently I am on 54 for my targeted keyword in google, after getting 250 backlinks....

Niche in domain is a plus point for SEO. But must remember it that you already worked 6 months in your old domain. So if you start work in your new domain then you need to wait around 6monts to get the position in Search. i think using existing website's domain is better for you.
And if you like to redirect New Domain to existing website's domain then you can.
I think existing website's domain is more powerful then New Niche Domain.
