Keyword domain for search engine, hyphen vs no hyphen

Hello seo experts,

Got a question regarding keyword domains and the way they are positioned and hyphens.

Say for a search on keyword "black bag" will the search engine rank blackbag.com or black-bag.com any different? what about on blackbag.com and bagblack.com?

Your insights regarding this one is well appreciated.

 

I've heard that non-hyphenated domains position higher in SEs, but If i want to choose a domain, my last choice is with hyphen.

 

Out of 333,000,000 Search Results for a keyword phrase,

I am ranked #7 for a hyphenated domain name. I have had this website for only 2 months.

using - we can easily see the keywords in domains. so i think use of - is good for seo.

 

there might be minor difference between SEO rankings of black-bag, blackbag or bagblack but most important you want domain name to be smart sounding and easy to remember for users. This last factor will outsmart all three.
