http://www.keyworddensitytools.com/ Thats what your looking for. Upgrade your density to 3.2 or below 4.0 and ping your site and see a dramatic change.
According to me there are many tool available on internet. But i think the best tool are keyworddensitytool, SEOquake, and Search Status toolbar. You can easily find keyword density through this toolbar.
You can use keyworddensitytool to check density of keywords in the content. Keywords density should be between 2 to 3 %.
Does anyone have a reference or link they can point too about proper keyword density? Several posters suggested a density of 2-3%, is that for 3 and 4 word keyword sets or just single keywords?
There is already another "keyword density" thread running on this forum, you can see it here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2414857&highlight=keyword+density Please do not take any notice of these people who tell you it should be a certain percentage because it is rubbish as far as Google is concerned. This video from Matt Cutts states categorically that Google does not use percentages for keyword density: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rk4qgQdp2UA
Keyword Density is the best on-page technique in SEO and it is extremely needed to take care of keyword density on pages content. As now days, content is playing extremely important role for search engine ranking so we should optimize content carefully and never underestimate keyword density.
I take it that you have watched the video from Matt Cutts (I linked to it in an earlier post) in which he says there is no ideal keyword density percentage? If you haven't then you really should, but if you have are you saying that he is incorrectly stating Google's view on this?
These are great articles to read over keywords density: http://www.technshare.com/anchor-text-variation-for-link-building/ http://www.seomoz.org/blog/anchor-text-distribution-avoiding-over-optimization
hey, keyword density means the amount of keywords included in the content. 3-4% of keywords are sufficient but if you go beyond that then there is a possibility of spamming.
Hi Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page.
