If a word like Redlining comes up on a page would it effect Google's algorithms for the keyword density of the word red on the page. Would Google count the first three letters in Redlining as the word red on the page?
Don't think so - it's about the whole words. So like "luxury redlining" helps you in luxury AND redlining, it does NOT help you for "lux" nor "red"
Correct, it wouldn't make any sense to do partial word matching. It would endlessly complicate the algorithm, and I can see some very odd search results due to it.
No dear it is not so.. Google will value the whole word not just three letters. You can take deep knowledge about this from new Google panda updates also.
I believe google give more value first three word because first line of the para show what page are going to say inside page.
No. This happens all of the time. Content needs to be streamlined toward red for it to matter in density.
Google can give you the answer pretty easily though. Google your keyword, broad match. Open the first three sites and use a tool to calculate their keyword density. Average these three numbers. That's the ideal keyword density for your keyword. Do that for the next dozen or so keywords you try to rank for, and you'll have the hang of it. And it'll be the right answer, not a guess, not anecdotal, and not hearsay.
Add a - then, it will read red and lining as different words. Also, mention it as your 2 different words in META keyword That is the only way to be picked up...
A hyphen will seperate 2 words. <meta name="keywords" content="red, lining, redlining"> PHP: and change redlining to red-lining This way, bots will catch 2 words separately and not as single entity wrt content. But, since you have mentioned same word in meta keywords, it will take that - and put it as one word. This way, you get optimized parameter for: Red Lining Redlining Got it?
So I would put in the meta keywords "red-lining" in instead of all three words and google will see that one word as all three? I though putting "red, lining, redlining" could be considered keyword stuffing if I use to many variations.?
No Mate. Keyword spamming != variations. Keyword spamming is when you stuff keywords in img alt and h1 title, etc... No, Do not put red-lining in meta keywords, it will just make things complex, do not try to hit 3 birds with 1 slingshot. Try not to be complex and Google will pick your website up. I understand at times, it can be frustrating but, patience is the key Coming back... when you use - (hyphen) it separates those 2 words as individual words. Keywords in META will help Google indexers to index relevant pages based on keywords specified as 'priority' META keywords are important. However, while writing meta tags make sure: 1. Meta description is less than 37 words. 2. Meta keywords have less than 11 combinations. For example, I write an article on Search Engine Optimization. I mention 'Search engine optimization" in my meta keywords and also mention it in description then, Google Indexers will try and look out for other parameters (tags) where I have mentioned Search engine optimization and then, index it and rank it (SERP).
