Keyword count

Just wonder how many keywords that we can included in the keyword tag inside a normal html page? Ideally, how many keywords that we need to put inside a page of website? Please help. Thanks

The major search engines don't read keyword meta tags. You can put one or 2 for the minor ones.

Even when they did read them, years ago, there was never anything to be gained from putting hundreds of keywords.
No page is - or should be - about hundreds of things - it's about ONE thing that can be described in ONE keyword.

"keyword" appear 15 times in 500 words
or 30 times in 1000words

 

Yes, but it's still a percentage ... so you fraxisphone could have just said 3-4% (which is incorrect anyway).

 

I prefer to keep keyword density between 2%-3%

 

I agree with you. Keywords in meta tag are of no importance for search engine, especially for Google. Now they pay attention to keyword density in the body.
