Keyword Confusion?

Hi -

I have recently started developing my new site and the problem is with the target keyword phrase.

That is,

the keyword is "Send Money To India" and I'm confused about the usage of "to" part.

As many SEs neglects these common words, is it wise to use these KWs with common terms in anchor texts?

While the SEs may neglect that word, people clicking on your link need to for it to make sense. Reading "Send Money To India" makes a little more sense than "Send Money India."

Just because the SEs may disregard this two letter word doesn't mean you should leave it out. Let their engines take care of that, you're looking out for your consumers.

Yeah I agree with Brian. Moreover, let SEs see your links in a natural way. The more natural it seems, more it will do good.
Try different variations of that keyword in anchor text, like "Send Money to India", "Sending money to India", "How to send money to India?"
Also, you may try using the above KWs in block letters sometimes. Get your anchor texts bold in some sites and italics in some sites. That will definitely help.

Be very careful not to stuff your keywords or you will be banned by engines.

 

Also, search engines to not actually neglect terms like to, a etc even though they say they do

You should see slight differences in the actual results.

 

Its not that they are counting them though. They are being used as a wildcard.

Do using sendmoneytoindia.com have any advantage over sendmoneyindia.com ? [ Considering you are getting anchors with send money to india ?]

I would be amazed if that made any difference. I would go for the most user friendly url.
