Hi everyone .. I want to share some tips concerning the measurement of the keyword competition. Usually, people look at the number of search results given by the serach engine to evaluate the competition, for the keyword "google" for example you get Results 1 - 10 of about 2,080,000,000 for google. (0.07 seconds) Actually, this method isn't accurate because it returns all the indexed pages that contain the word "Google" , and 90% of these pages mustn't be considered as competitors .. So, the trick is to use some other search queries, like: allintitle:"google" That returns the web pages that contain the keyword "google" in the page title (so the owners of that page are probably trying to rank for that keyword ) Another search query, more accurate is: intitle:"google" inanchor:"google" Using this last example will inform you how many of the pages with the phrase in the title, also have the phrase in the text of inbound links .. this will give you the exact number of competitor pages. I Hope you liked the tricks -Toon-c-
