keyword and domain

hi everybody
i just want to now if there is any difference for Seo between putting the keyword
in the domain name ( www.keyword.com) and after it (www.mysite.com/keyword)

There is a lot of difference. first one would get preference by search engines over any combination that is shown by second URL by you.

yes there is difference, keyword in domain name has more weight than keyword in file name

There is a big difference. If you manage to get exact domain for your keyword, you get a huge advantage on others. For instance for the keyword "search engine optimization" if you get http://www.searchengineoptimization.com or http://www.searchengineoptimization.net it will be perfect.

If keyword comes after domain that is a big deal. You need to work a lot to get to the top.

 

The biggest advantage of of having your keywords in your domain is that when you get natural back links people almost always use your domain name as the anchor text. This is huge in ranking in Google.
