Keyword analysis confused by google trends and google adwords..

    Everybody knows the keyword analysis is very important part of search engine optimization. if we does hard work on keyword analysis then the website defiantly get good position on search engines...

    But I think we are missing something...

    i have website i.e. keyword rajasthan tour and the website is coming in top ten. According google adwords the global monthly searches are 12,100 and local monthly searches are 1900 on this keyword and website also coming in USA.

    But the website has not getting queries from USA. So I have checked my site keyword at Google trends for checking how many searches on Rajasthan tour in USA and it's showing 0 results. According google trends this keyword is not searchable in USA.

    But I am confused that our most of competitors are using this keyword and getting queries.

    So I want to know which is the best keyword tools whom tell me the actual searching at USA on this or other keyword. I am confused between google adwords and google trends, because both results are differ.

    Use google trends for checking the trend on particular niche. Something that have large number of monthly search; travel, tour, travel to India.. something like that. So, keyword with small number of monthly search will not fit google trends query.

    Use adwords keyword tool for checking up keywords! If will show any number of monthly search or other data related to the PPC purpose.

    You must remember there are 2 parts of the trend what is hot right now and what has been a trend over the past 6 months or so but only viewable from few months before. Hope that helps!

    These paid tools will help you analyze more and choose the right keyword for your website or blog, better than Google Adwords' free tool. Stick to low competition and around 3k to 5k global and local monthly searches.
