    hi all,

i need some input. i am bringing up a new site that will focus on a specific niche. ia m looking at what keywords i will use to build the site around - very niche.

now... if i use keyword wish high competition... the chances of me ranking is real small... at least in the beginning.... if i use keywords with little completion i have the greater chance.

then again... it seems like competition and traffic are proportional.... usually.

what logic should i follow when looking to define my top 10 keywords for organic results?

Site name is: GetMarriedGuaranteed.com. It offers a coaching service to men who want to find love abroad. still under development as you can see, but keywords right now that I am using to promote the service on my other site (spiritofromance.com), is: Russian wife, russian bride, russian woman/women, mail order bride, etc.....

    some more input?

I would suggest to build your site around main keywords but optimize some pages for the less competitive ones.

you may want to start out ranking for non competitive keyterms and then work your way up.

If your site is already sort of popular, or you get some kind of traffic, you can just put competing meta tags on there, so if they look for something they find your site anyway.
