I don't stick to programing very long, I pick it up as needed. As such, I don't type the logical operators with the speed I would like. The problem, I find, is that I am accustomed to pressing the shift key with my right pinky only. This makes it inaccurate to stretch my fingers for the character keys on the right side of the keyboard. I see a few viable solutions to this, retraining my muscle memory (read: long, arduous process...don't wish to go this route) or having a 'character'-lock function such that the number row above the letter keys will not require the shift key while not interfering with my number key pad. Can any of you suggest the best way to achieve this? Desktop keyboards are logitech MX700's and MX5000's, but I'd also like it to work on my laptops. THANKS!
