I have some problems with keywords on one site. This site is about cars, i have very good results on keyphrases and very bad result for keywords, let's say i have (just an example) www.ferrari-cars.com, i rank very well for ferrari cars, ferrari italia, or any 2-3 words bit i am not in top 100 for ferrari or cars or something like this.
Well i don't know how competitive ferrari is (i mean as keyword) but since you don't show neither on the first 100 pages, you should consider to start building some backlinks for that keyword. It could be a hard run but give it a try. I have a similar challenge i am willing to enter, a high competitive keyphrase and wanna compete for that keyphrase with a just low budged (not more than $300).
So, you are saying that when i exchange links with similar sites to put in the anchor text just "ferrari", not "2-3 keywords" ?
focus on your main keywords, of course rely your keywords on how many browsers searches that particular keywords... use those keywords/keyphrase as your anchor text
don't expect to compete well on single word keywords like 'cars' or 'Ferrari"....just to competitive. I never use single word keywords, I always promote keyword phrase...the longer and more target the better conversions
Hello, I hope you are doing a great work ranking your site for ferrei cars, ferrari red cars, ferrari green cars, etc. but rank for cars or ferrari really it is very hard....
Yeah I think you are going to be facing an almost impossible task if you are trying to rank well for the keyword "cars" or "ferrari" Cars has over 353,000,000 sites listed in Google Ferrari has over 108,000,000 sites listed in Google By Contrast Ferrari Sports Cars has 3,400,000 sites listed in Google As you can imagine it will be far easier to rank well for a more specific phrase like the one above than the more competitive 1 word keywords.
