    Does it matter much for SEF if my domain keywords are combined or separated ? like this example:

    key-words.com or keywords.com

    If it's 2 words or more, I'd say with the "-" will be a little better for SEO. If you are looking for resale of the name, a "-" kills the value of it

    looking for SEO, so it is not very important to have "-" between keywords.
