can anyone tell me if a particular keyword is search 50,000 in a month and the competing pages are 700,000 so that KEI = 50,000/700,000 = 0.0714 In this case what do you guys think? is it too competitive? normal?
is this correct forumula of KEI someone told me a following formula KEI = P^2/C p=Keyword Popularity(month) c=Competitiveness
My opinion is that is a little too competetive. You may want to be a bit more specific with your keyword.
The KEI does not tell if it is difficult to rank in the first 10 positions. No matter what the KEI is. It will not be too difficult for you to be in the first 100. However, getting from 100 to the first 10 or even the first 5 can be very difficult. You should also study the first 10 sites before you conclude that it is competitive or not.
i thnk how much your keyword is popular in web market, if it the competition is shuld be there, then lots of compititors there, low popularity and competition get ur keyword at top, and this is great change, but not by other hand.
