Keepfile.com file hosting service for webmasters official thread

Dear members of the DP community!
I'm from Keepfile team and would like to introduce our file hosting service for you.

We have many file hosting options such as: You get paid up to 30$ for 1000 downloads or 60% commission of every premium account sale and rebill. Multiple downloads are counted. Multiupload through browser, remote HTTP, FTP, torrent leech. No restriction for any country - free download is always available. And everyone can to participate in our affiliate program.

Payouts are made to: PayPal and Webmoney. Maximum 7 working days is required for payment process upon request. Minimum payout amount is $10.

Keepfile is around 3 months after launch already and fast growing. I belive that many of DP members here can proof that we pay on time.

Also you receive 10% from all revenue generated by your reffered webmasters. Your referral also getting $5 reward to join through your affiliate link.

And register your website in the Keepfile system and receive 5% of each premium account purchase/rebill when buyer came from your website.

they have a rank and tier system - bit anoying tbh.

Yup - have to agree that the rank system is just not cool. Just take a look at the hosts that have droped/never had it - one in particular is doing very well despite being damn awful lol. If you want to grow fast then drop the ranking and keep your payout levels about the same - be prepared for a lot of traffic !!!

By the way - what's the wait time between downloads for free users ?
Does the site work with jdownloader etc ?
What's your position on sites like downloadnow ? Are you taking any steps to keep them out ?
Do you send out an email when a file gets deleted ?

ranking system makes all the uploaders a robot..if you stop your earnings drop..

cmon people..we are a human too..we have a life other than uploading stuffs.

 

popular101 - I upload one or 2 things a day. (generally movies/tv) and ive been platinum on hotfile for about 4months. I get around 700 downloads/day from FS & HF, I earn about $6 on FS and $8 on HF per day. that is why I dont mind ranking systems - I sell accounts.

Unfortunately some uploaders are sending very poor traffic. We think that is better to pay maximum more for those who posting files effectively then to pay less for all. But I can say that in overall if you post files without a bunch of mirrors and put keepfile at least as the second mirror (or is better first), usually you receive maximum rank with no problem. Only some time is necessary.

Also, I highly recommending to give a try to % program. It is really where you can do a lot of money. Imagine - if you are doing things right, you can to earn in 3-5 times more... You recieve not only for sales but for rebills also. And rebills can be for months and months...

However, you need to post files in another strategy than when you posting for just downloads.

60 sec captcha waiting and 20 mins delay for 100 MBs.

There is no way that Keepfile will support services which are doing damage to webmasters. We are banning and will always to ban such services. Allowed only services where reward for affilites is not affected.

Yes, email is sending (it's necessary to pick this option in "My accoun" settings) and also there is the list of files in the "My files" manager.

Just to be clear - are you saying that a free user gets the 60 sec delay until they have reached / downloaded 100mb, then there is a 20 min delay before they can start downloading again (with a 60 sec capture of course) ?
Assuming the above is correct - does the 100mb limit re-set after the 20 min delay ? ie the free user can then download another 100mb before the 20min delay kicks in again ?
If a free user downloads a single 300mb file do they then have to wait 60mins before they can download again ?

I would most likely be on pps anyway as my traffic is more suited to that, however a lot of people like ppd so I'm just thinking about the overall popularity of the file host - the more 'keepfile' links there are out there, the more likely people are to buy premium accounts.
I do get your point re 'poor traffic', but the problem is that you are up against some stiff competition from hosts who have dropped the tier system - I think you will find it difficult to attract ppd affiliates to a host with a tier system when they can easily go to another host with similar payouts but no tier system. Actually the lack of interest shown in this thread seems to suggest that people are (maybe) checking you out and just moving on, and I suspect it's the tier system that's causing it since your payout rates are decent enough.

just try to drop the ranking system and you will se a lot of signups.

 

The delay is only between downloads, not during. The single file is downloading without interrupts and the next download delay depends on size of previous downloaded file.

Most of active webmasters do not have rank of traffic less then 4. I'd say that there is no reason to avoid rank system if you are not sending poor traffic knowingly.

Basic recipe for a good traffic is pretty simple: No mirrors (max one). Split file on parts (200-400 MBs).

About that this thread is not so active.. Keepfile is already some time around and many of webmasters are already doing good with us. I think that when everything is good there are no reasons for someone to write a lot on the thread.
