Hi guys, Using Squidoo, I've been able to develop a system which gets my newly created pages right at or near the top of Google for some pretty popular search terms. The problem is, these rankings only seem to last a couple days and then the traffic drops off pretty quickly. I have a fair number of these pages, so actively collecting links is not realistic. This system is quite profitable for me right now, but if I could find a way of keeping the traffic going on each page for a longer time, the results would be incredible. Any ideas on how to keep my pages at the top for a longer period of time (I'd be happy with a month). Currently my promotion for each page consists of StumbleUpon and Digg. Thanks. *Edit - I want to add that these Squidoo lenses do have quality content, they aren't spammy or anything like that, which is one of the main reasons Google rewards them so nicely at the beginning.
The only way to get consistent rankings for competitive search terms is to have quality links to that page. That's pretty difficult to achieve for a squidoo lens. I assume you already submit your lenses to appropriate squidoo-groups? They are sort of the directories of the squidoo world.
