    Dear all,
I'm a network administrator of a huge mobile Company in Armenia. I am wondered that everywhere people are quite advertising Kaspersky and voting for it, just for their own decissions that they never explain WHY.
I can tell a story, that was really happened, so you may think.
a half year ago I installed Kaspersky on my Business Office Network. The first three months it run ocurately and nothing seemed to happen, and we all were happy, but after five months, it had gone to all WINDOWS/SYSTEM32 folders, and had damaged all the system. After I installed Symantec end point, and till now everything is fine. It's said that it has to be done a strong settings and configuration in kaspersky before using it, even a two months training is needed in order to run it. But still no chance that it may damage all the system.

My choice is Symantec, and this is my final decission without any change.

    yeah may be for you
But I go with Kaspersky not because i love it but because there are no other better AV's available
I have used Norton, Symantec, McAfee (even came free for two years with my systesm-still not using it), AVG, Panda and lot many of them in my last 4 years of computing
I am with Kaspersky since the last one year and found it to be beating all others available currently
Its update is almost 3-4 times a day
Catches almost all intrusion attempts, mind you i even use torrent downloads a lot
Xcellent email scan of my outlook express
Name it and it is there
Above all, you cannot use a keybreaker or blacklisted keys, they will inactivate it in a days times (Norton and other AVs can run it for weeks n months before even they come to know of it), this shows that they have dedicated guys working on it day in and out

Base on my experience, I would say Kaspersky works a lot better than symantec.
For me, kaspersky has more virus definition than symantec.

    Hi There

It shouldn't be a case of which AV product is best. ALL are useless unless you have a decent protection and removal strategy in place.

And besides an AV product isnt the only requirement to combat viruses / malware.

For home users this can be done FREE.

See our virus / malware removal guide on the links below.

    Regards

    OK

So what if you have a virus / malware / spyware that is so discreet or hidden in the registry that Kapersky could not find?

    Regards

I have been using Kaspersky for the last 2 years, and it's the best anti-virus / firewall I have ever used. It catches everything it's supposed to and is great on the system.

One of my friends says Kaspersky is best; I don’t think so as I’m using Avast.

But why is this discussion going on in a topic “Microsoft”
