Kaspersky wins hands down. Not even close if you read some of the virus tests, where Kaspersky is number 1 or 2. I like virustotal.com where it uses several virus scanners to check a file or archive.

Kaspersky = The best. Used it ever since it was launched and it's been excellent. Don't go for symantec!

As you can tell we could sit here all day and say mine's better than yours, or this is the best. The fact of the matter is that you don't have to spend a lot of money on an anti-virus that does no more than a free one. I use AVG, Malwarebytes, and ad-aware anniversary edition. I have yet to find any thing that has gotten past any of them. Its rather simple (in a since) stay away from sites that will mostly like have and carry virus's. I have tried Norton and was not impressed at all, along with other "so called" top of the line anti-virus, they let me get infected with more malware and trojans than a free one.

Kaspersky for me, Norton is too heavy and eats up your memory too much. NOD32 is also good.
