Though there may be many FREE tools, but none of them gives solid real time protection.

I just love Kaspersky! Don't know if you guys have the same problems, but SA made my computer pretty slow. Takes windows also ages to start. With Kaspersky I don't have any of those problems anymore!

What a great way to promote your website, eh?

Also, I've been using Symantec Norton Internet Security for quiet some time and I'm having no problems. Your anti-virus is key in protection but in the end, you're the person who downloads the key-loggers, and back-door viruses. I am careful with whatever I'm using and I make sure not to download the wrong things to infect my computer. I would prefer Kaspersky Anti-virus anyday, though.

    Yugo,

This new one by Microsoft is really good:

Microsoft Security Essentials FREE antivirus Software.Free security software with free updates directly from Microsoft! http://l-l.ca/tGFEgC

It is a very, very good program that does not bog down your computer.

Agree! Kaspersky is one of the best internet security applications. I used to have Norton installed but I have touched anything else since I first installed Kaspersky. It's good, regular updates, finds everything and it's not resource-hungry.
