I just recently redesigned my entire site with the Joomla content management system.

Give it a look see and give me some suggestions on how to improve.

    Thanks,

I like it. It'd be nice not to have the flash banner dance round on each page though.

I've thought about making the banner static instead of flash but I've gotten mixed thoughts from my members.

Anyone else want to comment on this?

Wow, took long enough to load on my cable connection! Maybe your server was having trouble...

The flash banner is very distracting, I would lose it. Or make it a gif on all the other pages.

I like the layout a lot. Very easy to navigate. But the font size seems a little small, especially when you have so much text on the front page, move up to 14px.

I don't like the search box, make it outlined. It is cool the way you have it, but not practical.

I am getting a massive horizontal scroll bar at 800x600, you should fix that. The entire left nav gets cut off at that res.

Nice colors, good navigation (once you up the font size) ;)

Nice site man!!! Was born in North KC!!! Big Chiefs fan! I heard that if they dome it, the Super Bowl will be in KC. That is something I would surely be there for.

Must have been a problem on your end, I've had no reports and normally it loads very fast, specifically on cable.

The search bar at the top is a quick search, and it says "search..." inside of it to indicate that is where you can search. I figure the folks that don't see that will see the search option on the menu that will take you to the fully functioning search page.

The site is designed for a minimum of 1024X768.

I decided to go with the suggestions and my gut (as far as speeding up load times and increasing SEO) and remove the old flash logo with a very small png.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.
