My site was at rank 4 on google search for a very cool 2 keywords but 2 days later I am no where to be find within the first 10 pages :(

I don't buy link or anything but I do use PPC to advertise and such. It's a ecommerce site too :(

How long were you rannking for those keywords? If it was only a short time, it could be a fluke could have had your site ranking for those terms in the first place. If your site was ranked for a long time for those keywords, and you are sincere about not breaking any rules, the best I can tell you is that things like this happen with search engines all the time.

As an SEO, you should start trying to rank on some new keywords and if you can't get rank, Google may be penalizing your site and you might need to hire an expert to diagnose your issues.

It happens if there is too much competition for that keyword.

Wait another week and track your keyword position.

same Q as angilina, how old is the site? if the site is new, then doing some link building can give you a sudden spike in ranking but then it will not last long. it will go back to nowhere till google has more info and enough data to come up with a solid ranking

This has also happened to me a few weeks ago, the search term I'm targeting
is a very popular one, the rankings will fluctuate from time to time because
many people are targeting the same term, there's nothing you can do about this.
