I am sure many of you here are aware of JVZoo affiliate network. While signing up, I noticed a requirement the affiliates should allow them access to our Paypal account. When asked, they sent a detailed reply. I am seeking your opinion on this issue. What is thought on JVZoo's affiliate requirement of paypal verification under adaptive payment system. Is it ok to allow them access to your paypal? Thanks
Oh, no replies so far? It is so unlike the knowledgeable members of DP. May I have to rephrase my question?
You'll see all the answers here: http://support.jvzoo.com/Knowledgeb...s-jvzoo-need-this-access-to-my-paypal-account You have to link to adaptive payments for the system to work. There is no access to your account however as far as logins, passwords or anything like that.
Yes it's ok. Warrior Plus and even the Digital Point Marketplace ask for access to your paypal account. It isn't to spy on or rob you although I understand your concern Paypal's concern is the security of their system and customers. These "adaptive payment" systems make it better for the likes of JVzoo to manage the huge amounts of transactions they generate, pay affiliates, properly distribute refunds, etc. I think it's "win-win" for everyone -- especially vendors; because, how else would one manage to properly distribute payments to all parties involved when doing a WSO or product launch? You'd likely have to create your own system and still wind up requiring all your vendors/affiliates to give you access. Anyway, just my 2 cents! Best!
