Hey, why so much hostility over a product launch. Nowt wrong with announcing a product is about to be launched and asking if affiliates want to take a look at it and try to promote.

How are you going to get conversions stats on first day of release???

There is a lot of bullsh%^ products out there, that are simply rehashed crap that only worked 5 years ago.

Having read this product sales page, the one thing that stands out for me is the word WORK. Meaning you have to work on your blog and content to get it to work, and the course offers the correct know how and templates or plugins to make a wordpress blog successful.

Cut the guy some slack, im sure he will give some conversion stats here when they happen, and you will all be licking his boots to promote the product.

    Stay cool people!!

Quite easily actually, he could have sold through paypal before going through the clickbank approval process. OR he could have just held off on making this post until he had sent some traffic to his sales page himself.

What he is doing now is something you wont see any experienced vendor do, he wants his affiliates to do the testing for him.

I completely agree with marcusio. He should've tested his salesprocess. See if everything is working, etc. And then, and ONLY THEN, come to message boards and forums, asking to promote.

It's so easy, too. Spend $500 on some ads... and you got some data. AND you build a list in the process.

Now he's trying to use other peoples resources and tries to make money in that way. No big affiliate is going to take a chance with this. Unless it's a friend. He MAY help you... if the salesletter is sort of decent that is.

Besides that he's attacking people, etc. It's just no way to try to do JV deals. He should've said:

Thanks for your suggestion guys. I'll get to work on some results.

I, for one, would never promote this product. Nothing in return. No proven conversions. And being hostile vs possible JV partners who are giving honest to god, good suggestions to actually persuade possible JV partners.

Good luck man. But in this way you'll never get strangers to promote your stuff.

Fair point on the above two posts, but haven't most products on Clickbank been tried and tested to be successful, mainly thanks to affiliates expert marketing efforts getting their products out there to produce great sales?

Plus, $500 trying out advertising on some ads is a bit scary especially if you haven't got a bottomless pit of cash to throw at it. I know it could pay for itself especially if the campaign was successful, but there's a chance it could fail especially with inexperience in promotion techniques.

I just made the comment, because it was the guys first clickbank product launch and he got a savaging for being inexperienced in approaching potential affiliates.

if the owner is not prepared to throw $500 at his own product then why should the affiliates be willing to do it?

    Yeah, exactly.

And it's not the fact that he's inexperienced. It's how reacts to good suggestions. If he'd take those suggestions and do something with it... noone would react like that.

I am sure he wants the best. And he doesn't mean it bad. It's just not a good practice to attack people who just try to give advice.
