Does anyone have problem with JustHost.com Here? I have applied JustHost's affiliate program through commission junctions, and i successfully referred 6 customers via the link i get from commission junction. HOWEVER, I only see 1 commission shown up in my commission junction account, I sent the link via e-mail, and I am pretty sure all my customer clicked on the link I sent them, otherwise, they wont know what hosting company i asked them to sign up, and they all signed up from 6 months plan up to 2 years plan at JustHost.com. I have tried to contact their affiliate support, they told me to contact through CJ directly, I have contacted through CJ, but it has been almost a week, I still yet heard a response from them. I wonder if I have done anything WRONG? or does anyone have the same problem as I do here? please share your experience with JustHost.com THANK YOU and I appreciate your input.
looks strange to me that you have 6 good friends that accepted your proposal to spend a total of $712.80 (6 x 24month plans) in Justhost.com.. I personally don't know so much debuting webmasters like you know. Also maybe justhost.com is not responsible for your problem. run "detail commission" report, not a "summary commission" (on "Report options") for the period to check if there is any reversed commission (in red). If there is no reversed commission (in red) you should talk to CJ only and justhost.com has not to do with this issue. You should not paste your affiliate link in this forum and I don't know if you are authorized to promote justhost.com sending affiliate links to your customers.
those are my clients, not friends, i checked the report, only 1 commission is shown, all the other 5 commissions are not there, no report at all.
heres the thing with what could go wrong.... #1 many hosting companies only pay out on 1+ years host why do you think they offer you a $100 payout for a service that only costs $50? #2 Cookies of your clients if for some reason your cookie was cleared from your clients computer you will not get paid nor can you say hey thats my sale. #3 Cookie stuffed crap....if your client shopped around after checking out your link and clicked on someone elses site who has a cookie stuffing script sorry, same thing goes with did they visit your competitor for the same merchant. #4 The merchant is a scumbag theive. I say its option #1... that is the most common same with #2
The same with you , I contacted JustHost affiliate master through CJ 30 days ago, Still not receive a response from them.
I have also done what you have, get clients going through all your links. Also had the same issue as what you have but what can you do about it? I've questioned affiliate networks for years but they all use excuses and this cookie stuff is a lot of crap! You know your client went from your link to the site, paid for the service with no issues yet no sale. You don't need cookies for that just sessions. Do you think any affiliate network actually pays every sales because I personally don't despite using them for years?! Commission Junction for me is the best out of them all however. My current CJ account is new I have 2500 clicks with only 2 sales. I'm not suggesting there was more sales and I'm failing to get due commission but I'm suggesting that I'm a mug because there is no way 65p is enough payment to me for generating 2500 visits! I could sell 2500 visits to a client for $30-£20 easy! If that was Google AdSense I would be looking at a nice little payment for that effort and I know this simply by comparing it to my own Google AdSense sales. Simple fact is these networks are making a mint from our effort, advertisers are switching their accounts on and off or messing about the terms so much your advertising them for nothing. Google Network is the worst for that but I've seen it more on CJ recently also. So check your terms & conditions. Skype is a good example, put their products all over the place only to then find out they do not pay out for commission if sales go through Skype itself. So let me get this straight, customer downloads Skype because you referred them, buys the headset that originally caught their attention on your website but does it through the software. You get nothing! Scammed and I don't care what Skype or other cowboys say they are all at it in one way or another. Don't worry it's normal, just play the game and make the most you can and get over the fact your helping to make CJ rich and get business for business.
We have had several clients/members register for JustHost. We have also got clients invoices and welcome email as a way to prove their enrollment. We have tried to contact JustHost several times but no response. It is a shame. We have since taken down Just Host offers. We dont think that this is right, however Just Host continues to be a member with CJ after all these complaints. I hope CJ does something about this. It is not right for their publishers.
Can I ask a question... if you read this.... why would you go thru cj for hosting? 99% of these have inhouse that pay better.
In-house pays lower commission rate than through Commission Junction. The same is true for Super Green Hosting which is owned by JustHost.com Overall, I have received a lot of commissions from JustHost.com and have had contact with their sales rep. JustHost is a very reputable company. CJ on the other hand is another question, as my conversion rate was about 1 in 100 clicks for about a year and then the last 2 months it has been 1 in 850 clicks with no changes to my sites (about 6 hosting related websites). There is no question that new tracking software needs to be developed that cannot be blocked to make sure advertisers get their commissions, because the cookie blocking excuse is the one they always give. Once I went through my own link with cookies enabled, made a purchase, and did not get credit for the sale. I contacted CJ and they told me to contact the hosting company. I eventually got credit for the sale, but it makes you really wonder how many sales you are getting screwed on. I personally think CJ has a way to hide sales so they can keep more money for themselves. CJ has been around since 1998 and I would really like to see something better come out, but not a twin...Something more reliable than CJ.
Ask cj about this issue and then go on as per their instruction. It may possible that some problem in your side. Pls. Check it first.
I have used Justhost and have always been treated well by them. They pay a huge commission if you contact them and ask them for an increase. I asked them and they are now paying me $200 per sale!!
A lot of hosts don't pay for coupon sales because they are selling the plan at a discounted price and since they are already paying more than the revenue they receive, they don't want to take an extra hit on revenue by paying out on discounted sales. It sucks, but is somewhat understandable.
You having a laught lol! Why should they pay you 200$ commission for a 50$ sale? My friend had many commission cancelled from Justhost too and they all were his clients. He had to ask his clients to send an email to justhost boss Nick Baker to credit his account with commissions.
do not understand why justhost can increase the commission to you with 200$per sale while others not?
