Just wondering

I see lots of these designs out there on sites like http://www.dremeda.com/index.php

I am just wondering, how do people make those lines? the ones in the background (black and gray) and the ones under the header (blue and lighter blue)

Is it just the same as designing them? and then cutting out a piece so that it would fit perfectly once repeated? Just really confused about it, that's all. Hope someone could help me out with it.

    Thanks
    Nick

Exactly. And then they use CSS background properties to repeat along the div.

There are also websites where you can create this kind of patterns online, like http://www.stripegenerator.com/index.php?page=index

Thanks. That really helped. I made one my self, but it's much easier doing it on the site. :D
