Hey everyone! I'm new here, and just wanted to say Hi to everyone, and hope I am welcomed here. I don't often post on forums, so I hope I read the rules right and don't mess up. I am writing articles for a few diff places, but I want my OWN articles to be seen by people, and I have no clue on how to really.. I mean, I know how kindof, but I really need some pointers. I know Im not allowed to post the link, but it's my home page on my profile here, so if you guys want to check it out and give me some pointers, id really appreciate it. I was wondering if maybe I should have my own site for ppl to read my articles. any suggestions? ** edit, i accidentally posted a referral code and replaced it with my actual homepage URL, it was an honest mistake, my apologies
You should get an Ezine.com account (free). You can submit your articles there. Then, put your link in the 'about the author-box'. If your articles are high quality and original, people will click on the link to your website. You could also try Digg.com This is also a great site to socialize with other webmasters and visitors to promote your articles and website. Good luck!
I agree... Digg.com is a very good resource. I use them all the time, myself. Although I haven't tried Ezine.com, I know they have a formidable network and a good reputation.
Make your articles interesting and informative. Be sure to include a compelling bio box that will encourage readers to click through to your website. Use a service or software that includes article directories as well as lists. Both lists and directories will give you traffic but directories will give you valuable back links. These links will help to raise your Page Rank in Google and improve your position in the search engines.
I agree that Digg, and other social bookmarking sites can get you a lot of traffic, however, they seem to a very unresponsive crowd when it comes to buying. The OP had a good idea about posting your articles on your own site. Post each article at ezinearticles.com and then re-write each article a little bit, and post each one on your own site. Re-writing helps you avoid the duplicate content that Google seems to despise.
Wrie a well rsearched article and submit it to Digg, stumbleupon and other social bookmarking websites. You can also create a Squidoo lens for showcasing your article.
