yeah, i did it purely for the serps and perhaps a boost in PR. it seems that my main competitor who always ranks well with a PR5 site is listed there. I want to move for certain keywords.

I found you between 400 - 500 , which is page 5 if you use 100 listings per page.

You refer to a main competitor, as far as I can see, there are many mighty companies going for that keyword

Might I suggest that you think in terms of hundreds of listings, and alternative keywords as well

Your 4 high quality listings will haeve an impact, but i think they'll not be enough

thanks for the comments. yeah, I agree about the difficulty of the keyword tutoring. I misoke, I meant I was on page 5 for the keyword philadelphia tutoring which is where most of the tutoring happens. in yahoo and msn I am in top 3 for philadelphia tutoring, tutors and all sorts of variations. the other keywords I am targeting can be found in the titles of the pages and within the content. I paid 10 and had the link submitted automatically to 800 junk directories as well. I will be paying an seo to get me 100 inbound pr2_3 educational links. all this should provide a boost in a couple months.

 

I assure that most directory owners think of their directories as valuable

 

quick update, approved in aviva, alive, and botw. still waiting on yahoo. homeworkhelpage .com also picked up my link fromthe directory. a relevant pr5 site, yeah!
