just switched to wordpress

I just switched my blog to wordpress...and the bad part is I couldnt get all my post from my last CMS to wordpress, which sucks...

but I want to get your feedback on the layout let me know

What previous CMS were you using? Site looks good and clean. If I'm not mistaken, you are using the Silhouette wordpress theme created by Brian Gardner?

I like the layout of your blog and the colors. I used CMS before with an adsense site. Are you trying to convert your articles to wordpress form CMS?

my prior CMS was a article CMS system call ArticleMS - but I never let anyone signup - so I just used it as a standard cms as it was perfect for what I needed for creating sites and managing

but again, it was hard for me to upload all the post I did and its only about 40 plus post since it was made 1.5 months ago - and it has gained popular - so I just reposted the top 5 content on my site.

if you know a way to move the data let me know!! - I still have the SQL - but the structure of the site maybe disruptive since I have moved folders around to the new directory in my ftp for wordpress

Nice blog. I like the theme. The only thing that bothers me is that the layout just kind of stops at the right. There is no border there and so it feels as if it just runs off the page.

 

I have asked my graphics designer to come up with a good banner

I am reviewing your blog in Opera on a Mac. The left side text is right on the edge. Is this what you wanted? Other than that looks great.

You can use phpmyadmin to add your old articles in mass. Then (yes, you have to) you should edit all, setting the categories, tags, and whatever you need to complete the movement.
I can help you, if needed. A simple php script that will translate articles from AMS to WP, then bulk inserting in the database. That way, the dates will remain as from AMS, but don't know what to say about permalinks. You can set them manually, if needed, no?

hmm I havent tested it with opera on mac - but mac on FF looks perfect - the layout would be centered

 

Not tables, their content And yes... that's all A simple script that will parse your old database dump (the article table only ) and generate proper inputs in the correspondent table: wp_posts.

Yeah... well I suppose it's just the right side. See, the left side has some white space and you can see the end of the header.

 

I think I know what you are talkin about the white spaces between the title of the next post and the date and category of the post above it?

I brought that up in another forum and no one knows the issue, but I think its because of the xmls that has the trackback info, because when I view the source there is this coding between them - I want to know how to fix it or adjust it because it does look obstructive
