    I'm having my web store website re-done (the original one is awful), and I want to ensure that my new site is optimized. What do I need to tell my web designer to do (or not to do) to ensure that I begin with a well optimized e-commerce site?

    If your current website designer is not familiar with SEO, I'd sack him and hire one that is.
