I believe this is the best space to post this. Please correct me if I am wrong. I have been maintaining a sales site for a while now and it is doing fairly well. We have expanded to selling on Amazon and I am curious the best way for me to
    1. Rank well in Amazon
    2. Set up my store so that I can get affiliates to link to and sell my products.

I understand my requests are fairly broad, but thanks in advance for your help. I always seem to run into very knowledgeable and helpful folks here.

Here is a link to my Amazon store screen protectors

Learn from the best you will come up in amazon marketing. Start talking to the best in your market i mean the super affiliates or the super sellers to get the best out of them.

So from my understanding is you are selling your products on Amazon and you want affiliates to promote them?

    Do the following:
    a) Write a press release about your product and link to your Amazon store
    b) Create a video and submit to Youtube, Revver and RealPeopleRealstuff. Make sure your Amazon store link is on the video and on the description
    c) Submit to classified ads such as USFreeAds and Oodle
    d) Create a Twitter account
    e) Create a radio show at BlogTalkRadio
    f) Ping your Amazon store link

You can go a step further and create niche websites on Ipad or Ipod. Create a review site on this and than promote your XO Skins at the same time. That way you kill two birds with one stone. From my experience customers who purchase from Amazon end up buying more than one item. So since the buying customer for Ipad and Ipod is higher compared to your XO Skins, targeting these buyers, you will have a good chance they might end up buying your XO skins together with their electrical product purchase.

Hope that helps. More info on creating Amazon review site available at norajeannehirsu.com. Check it out.

Well, as an experienced (and somewhat bitter) Amazon seller, here's the tricks that were often pulled on me.

    1. If you have competition for the same products, then you need to keep adjusting your price down by a penny to underbid, in order to move up to the top.
    2. If you allow Amazon to fulfill your shipments, you get another bump to the top.
    3. Looking back, I would have been better off selling everything from Amazon, and then create an Amazon Affiliate store, so I could take advantage of other sellers' products. *However, you can make a much better profit from your own site.
    4. If these are custom products or you have an exclusive deal then you are golden.
