I'm new to internet marketing. I'm really ambitious into making a sucessful website that will bring me profit. I was lurking around this forum for a while, and read plenty of useful information, I also read the book about Adsense from Joel Comm. So I know the basic things that I need to do. My main goal is to generate income from Adsense. I started a blog about something I know very well - bodybuilding . I'm putting the highest quality content in order to attract visitors. Also, after a research I decided on using the keyword 'build muscle' as a main keyword for my site. When I analyze my site with a keyword analyzer the word 'build muscle' comes at the top of the list which is what I was going for. I submitted the site to google and yahoo, as well to plenty of blogs and rss directories. I created the site 2 days ago and I'm working on promoting it. I'm gonna join plenty of link exchage sites and get linked as many times as possible, in order to get listed in the search engines and get some views. I have to wait a few weeks until I get listed by google or yahoo right? I was wondering if I'm doing the right things, and I'm looking for some advice and tips on how can I further improve this. I'm currently using blogspot, but I'm gonna buy a .com domain today and transfrom the blog into a real site. Thanks , in advance for the help
I get my sites indexed in less than 48 hours..... and your niche is very good.....i suggest you move to your new domain and then do all the marketing needed.....
One other thing I would recommend on a blog is just to do the initial steps of making it search engine friendly. Things like fixing the URL's, ensuring things are linked properly, etc will make a difference.
Wow... 2 response in just a few minutes after posting my question... I'm already starting to like this forum. Thanks for the useful info. As well as valid results the keyword analysis show some strange data as well. Here's the single keyword analysis (part of it) Single Keywords muscle 47 data 31 46quot 29 build 28 { 21 expr 18 where did those 46quot, data, {, expr and similar words come from. I guess they're part of the code of the blog so the keyword analyzers count them as well. There is plenty of erroneus data like the one i listed in both the two word and the three word analysis. I mean I got the words I wanted at the top.. so do I need to worry about the irrelevant erroneus words that appear in the analysis, is this normal ? I tried several keyword analyzers just to make sure, the output I got was the same. Thanks again
