Just started a new blog site :: Should I add AdSense or wait till I get good traffic?

Hi friends, I have just started a new blog website and I have wrote about 10 articles. Should I place ads immediatley or wait till I get some good traffic.

 

Did you place all of the articles at the same time? are you working on your traffic?

 

I would a bit to get some traffic...At least 10 or 20 uniques a day.

 

Yeah! you can wait atleast 1-2 weeks because of variety of traffic and search results. After then you can place it i guess many clicks with good impression could be earned

 

I wrote my articles one by one and now I have been working for traffic about 3 hours creating back links and all.

Now, I am adjusting the layouts and making the website attractive by changing a little design. I am making my site ready to place the ads. But, I will add them after some days so that I can get some traffic.

Lets see what others will suggest.

 

Wait till you build your content up, rank well in search engines.

 

Just put the ads up now, like what difference does it make to anyone new visiting your site. Get started on making the layout of yer site right from day one because trust me every single day makes a difference, good luck with yer new site

 

Putting adsense will not hurt your site in any way. So why not put it now?

 

Thanks for the replies. I have not put the AdSense still coz I have heard many saying that the AdSense websites are not crawled faster by Google as it assumes that we have made a site for ads.

 

put adsense once you have content. as long as you aren't breaking the TOS in any way you are good to go... goodluck with your blog!

 

I would put the ads on immediately once I set up the blog, since I want to since whether it matches between the ad placement and the main content.

I suggest you advertise your articles on websites such as digg to make your uniques go up and once it hits consistency you should add adsense ads

 

At first even I thought the same. But, now, I realised that Traffic is the most important factor and if you have that, you will get your revenue rolling.

According to the "pros" (such as ShoeMoney (shoemoney.com), and John Reese), you shouldn't monetize (adsense, and other ads) until you have atleast 1,000 unique visitors per day. I'll save you the novel and just say that in a nutshell it's because you want visitors returning to your site and staying there rather than clicking and leaving your site right away (probably never to return).

But, don't take my word for it. Check out youtube search for shoemoney and listen to the phonecast he had with John Reese and those pros explain it pretty well (they both make millions each year).

I placed adsense ad in my blogs after making only 5 posts!

But without traffic the ads were either not showing at all or were grayed out....
