Just sold ibooze.info

i have just sold http://ibooze.info for $400

The person who bought it, owns i-booze.com

I was just wondering if you thought that it was I let it go for too little. remember it was just the domain name no content etc

 

WOW. £200 seems a lot for a .info

Did it have a good PR, Alexa, backlinks or anything or was it pretty average?

Like the allthegoodnamesweretaken said, it's a lot for a .info, but then again here's the way I look at it. I'm not a domainer, nor do I have any desire to be one, but I think the value in the name is how much the end user values it. Obviously, the owner of i-booze.com percieved a great value in the .info domain you sold him. Regardless of what people valued the domain, it was worth it to him, and that's all that really matters.

We can only analyse it from our perspective.
If someone dislikes the domain they might say reg fee.
If someone likes it they might say $100
But if someone WANTS it they might give $1000 (okay maybe not quite but you get my point)

Yea I thought it was a good price, I dont think many other people would have paid that much for it.

Yeah, I really think you did good. Of course, this is coming from a non-domainer, and I have no idea if $400 was good or bad for that domain. Personally, I wouldn't have gave $10 for it, but for me, I have no use or desire for it. Not that it's a bad name, I just don't value it greatly because it's not what I am looking for or needing at this point. To the owner of i-booze.com though, it was of high value to him.

Most .info are worthless to begin with let alone pulling $400 from someones pocket whom just bought it for whatever reasons.

I thought that I had got a good deal. I have never heard of anyone wanting to buy a .info domain so I was surprised when someone emailed me about Ibooze.

 

This a good example that domain names are worth by the interest a person can feel for it and not for the name itself.

Ibooze says nothing to me and doing a quick search there are too little resutls for ibooze to find any value, specially if you never truly develop it so.... who really cares!

good check your bank account and see if if the money has transfered, if yes then u got more then just a great deal. However in this case it may have been that the owner really wanted the domain. Not many people get that much fo a .info domain.

 

That is a great price for that name, I can't see getting much more than $400.

It's a nice price. Value is in the beholder's eyes. It was valuable for the buyer.

 

Good price cause this domain is not so interesting for resellers. But as you can see the end-users can pay great price for the domain they need.

 

Well I got the money in my paypal on tuesday I transferd it to my bank account on wednesday so it should be in the bank soon, hopefully saturday
