Just sold a site (cpanel, backup)

    Hi All

    Just a quick question...

    I have just sold a website and the client asked for a backup of the site as well. I have many different websites within my cpanel. Under the backups link, i click on the domain i was selling and it downloaded a '.gz' file. Is this safe to send?

    Does it contain any other information about other websites/domains i have attached to this cpanel ?

    Not that I know of, when you back something up you could just download it manually to be safe. Check inside the files if your unsure though

    The file inside the '.gz' was a MS DOS Application or something like that.
