Ok first of all, just finding this forum has made me hopeful I didn't just fall for some scheme. A friend of my doctor supposedly worked online doing data entry, so I looked for it, stumbled onto Virtual-Training-Solutions.com which led me to Clickbank. I quickly realized I wouldn't be processing people's rebate forms, as I was led to believe, but I need to know the gist of how this all works.

I already tested my Clickbank affiliate ID and it worked - I saw my username at the bottom of the page...

    Are ANY free ads worthwhile?
What do you mean writing articles?

I'm very new and just hoping its not a scheme. I'm a biology major who is looking for just about ANY job, from-home would be great but if it turns out to be a scam I'm only out $39.00.

    Thanks

Yeah I've had only one or two issues with companies that use clickbank but they were not scams..

Money was refunded within 3 days, i used their contact form.

Go for it man, you have nothing to lose but time, at the most.

You shouldn't have paid for information on how to find ClickBank. Can you provide me with the link to the site that you paid so I can check it out?

thanks by the way, whether i can get my money back or not, i am eager to try clickbank because it seems from the posts on this board, if you put time and effort into it, and are knowledgeable of computers, you can make money.

Wait, you paid $39 to someone to show you the ClickBank website? I'd ask for a refund if i were you...

And if the transaction was not made through ClickBank, then ClickBank cannot issue the refund, but the site you purchased it from can.

I am not fully understanding what you are saying here though.

Ok well I'm out $39 that sucks.

Now that I am on clickbank though, is there any places to advertise worthwhile that are free or is google ads or yahoo ads the way to go?

    thanks

An excellent free method of promoting Clickbank products is with article marketing, do a search in Google for 'article marketing' and you will find tons of info on how to get started.

It seems like you are basically asking how to make money with clickbank. Is this what you are asking? There are plenty of starter threads that could help you out with the basics.

You could take a look at these two threads. Although they are a bit old they will explain the basics of making money with clickbank.

The Best Advice I Could Ever Give A ClickBank Newbie Affiliate Marketer

Two tried & tested methods for generating Clickbank Sales

I think a great way to learn to make money with clickbank is to sign up as a publisher for a merchant and read through their affiliate help pages. They provide free articles, web designs, tips on using adwords, and more.

The main thing that you need to understand is that it takes a lot of work to make money using clickbank. You need to promote a lot of products till you find good ones and if you arent good at SEO you will need to spend thousands in Google Adwords to make thousands.

Wow that first thread is looking amazing, thanks so much. The idea of getting a domain name that matches the product well and forwarding the domain to your HOPlink is genius.

    Thanks

Yes but you have to be very careful with that. Like I said in the previous post that the information is slightly outdated. It seems that Google is not a big fan of domain forwarding. So if you are going to do this with Google adwords you will need to be careful.
