When i signup up for a moneybookers accounts, they said i have to verify my account by typing in how much they deducated from my credit cards in the currently of EUROS. I had to enter the amount in euros. So i looked at my prepaid visa credit card statement, and the amount was NOT in Euros, but in My country's currently of New Zealand dollars. There was no way for me to see this amount in EUROS. So I had to go to a 3rd party online currently converter, type in the amount in NZ dollars and convert it into EUROS,then i typed it in moneybookers and it works. Question is,when moneybookers deducated EUROS from your credit card to verify your account, did it show up as EUROS on your credit card statement OR did it show up in YOUR country's currency? Also, does anyone know, moneybookers allows you to have up to 5 email addresses associated with your account. I want to delete the first email address i signed up with, and add a NEW email address. Can I just add my new email address, then delete my old one? If not,can people send funds to BOTH my first email address and second email address?
I used my Indonesian credit card, and the verification amount showed up on the statement in both Rupiah (by default) and EUROS. I think that's depend on the bank that issued your credit card.
It's based on your bank account/credit card currency, they do the proper conversion before debiting your card.
Hey does anyone know, when someone sends you a payment to your moneybookers, what information can the sender of the payment see about me? Do they just see my moneybookers email address? or do they see my full name and address aswell?
they don't see anything about you you can receive money to any e-mail the tis registered into your moneybookers (up to 5 e-mails) all the e-mails will work when logging into moneybookers as well (write any of the e-mails and the password of the account and login) e-mails help separate reports (ie you receive payments from sites you own and want to know what sites gives you what money when you sell on your site using MB
