Just sharing my experience, Google have been very understanding/reasonable

    I have this week received an email from Google saying that one of my sites using adsense is in violation of Tos. It is, I cannot complain it was one of my early sites and I had on there a pointer for visitors to support the site by clicking the ads.

    Well, Google emailed and simply said look you cant do that, fix it, meanwhile we wont be serving ads to that page but you account will not be closed. I fixed the violation in a heartbeat and said sorry and as it happened they never even stopped serving the ads.

    They have since pointed out another (minor)violation on the same web page, again in a reasonable manner and I have fixed.

    I think this is a good attitude by Google, perhaps they take a number of factors into consideration when they decide how hard (or not) to be with you.

    That's cool to share.
    And yes, google is great at friendly dealing. I always contact them when I am in doubt of a violation in my sites.
