My first time reporting someone... Just couldn't stand this one moron - he had an arcade website with a bunch of hidden keywords so while playing mario I might accidentally click on one of his lawyer ads. Sucks for the rest of us and personally running my own Adwords campaign for my online store, I sympathize with the advertiser. I do feel a bit of guilt though.
I never realized while browsing that so many people try to cheat the system. I just really started to take notice while setting up my online store this week how much adwords might cost some people. While browsing sites I started to notice all the tricks people try to get people to click on their Adsense ads... I guess simple isn't better for some people! Div layers over submit buttons, hidden keywords, iframes..... overwhelming!
i remember my first time.. I felt guilty for a while.. but it felt so good i quickly forgot the guilt.. ..
You did the right thing. Don't feel guilty. I only report someone when it is really bad. I mean I won't for an image next to an ad. This guy I would have.
Guilt? I wouldn't feel guilt. I'm sure if he did it on purpose, he definitely deserves the consequences. Everyone should be playing by the same rules. But again, you can always contact them before that issue (you're no an adsense police though lol) but they may not even bother to change it.
That tends to get you some terse little emails with most of the words spelled with four letters. Pass on the info and let Google handle it.
Its human nature to feel guilty, same as turning someone in for stealing a elderly womans purse, doesnt meant they didnt deserve it though. Keep your head up. Hoot
E-Snitch lol, dont feel guilty, you are saving the advertisers money. I hate when people use those kinds of tricks to get their ads clicked on.
